April 26 - 28:
MAPACA JUBILEE - The largest Alpaca Show currently in the United States takes place at the Farm Show Complex in Harrisburg, PA.

May 11 - 12:
NEAOBA NEW ENGLAND ALPACAFEST - (Deerfield Fairgrounds, N.H.)

May 18:
SHEARING DAY - At Southwind Farms, 223 Morris Town Line Road, Watertown, CT. Not open to the Public.

May 16 - 19:
AOBA NATIONAL SHOW - Ft. Wayne, Indiana.

June 8:
CONNECTICUT OPEN HOUSE AT SOUTHWIND FARMS. Hours: 10 am - 4 pm.

July 13:
DAYLILY ALPACA FEST - A special weekend at Southwind Farms. Enjoy our beautiful daylilies while you visit our alpacas and new babies. We will have yarn sales as part of our 15th anniversary raising alpacas.

July 14:
The Connecticut Daylily Society will be having their annual picnic and meeting here at Southwind Farms. Anyone interested in learning about Daylilies or the Society is welcome to attend the meeting. But, please call the Ct. Daylily Society to let them know you will be attending (860)457-0121 - Russ Allen, President. We would love to have you.

September 28 - 29:
NATIONAL ALPACA FARM DAYS - Watertown, CT. Hours: 10 am - 4 pm.

September 27 - 29:
THE BIG E ALPACA SHOW - Takes place at The Eastern States Exposition Fair, 1305 Memorial Avenue, West Springfield, MA.

October 12/13:
SOUTHWIND FARMS ANNUAL FALL FESTIVAL & OPEN FARM DAYS - This is a very popular event with new alpaca products, yarns and events surrounding our wonderful alpacas. Hours 10am-4pm.

November 30/ Dec 1st, & December 7-8:
NEW ENGLAND HOLIDAY TOUR - Start your holiday shopping early. Buy unique alpaca yarns and products without the hassle of mall crowds. Hours: 10am-4pm
